The process is time-consuming involving skillful artisans to create magical effects. it undergoes various stages of manufacturing right from selection of finest pure Georgette fabric at Designer Chikankari to tracing of design which is done by placing tracing paper with the design on the fabric & spreading paste of chalk powder on it.

Depending on the design the gotta is cut into various shapes. Its than applied by hemming or backstitch on the fabric
